Singapore ACM SIGKDD Symposium 2026

The Singapore ACM SIGKDD Symposium 2026 (“KDD Singapore Symposium”) is an in-person event organized by the Singapore ACM SIGKDD Chapter, in parallel with AAAI 2026. The Symposium aims to invite local and international researchers to introduce their recent research works in KDD areas, and connect the researchers with industry companies. The event was last held in 2023 and 2024.

Date: 20 January 2026
Venue: Singapore University of Technology and Design (about 12-minute walking distance from the AAAI 2026 venue, Singapore EXPO)

The Symposium will be a one-day event consisting of:

  • Invited keynote talks from both academia and industry
  • Contributed oral and poster presentations.

Call for Oral Presentation

We are soliciting oral presentations for papers in the areas of knowledge discovery and data mining recently accepted by KDD 2025/2026, AAAI 2026 as well as similar conference/journal venues, such as (but not limited to) the top 20 venues listed by Google Scholar Metrics in the category of Data Mining & Analysis and Databases & Information Systems. We welcome oral presentations for all papers accepted from July 2024 onwards to those venues.

Submission

Authors are required to:

  • Submit the accepted version of their papers through this form by 7 December 2025, 11.59pm SGT 12 December 2025, 11.59pm SGT

  • At least one of the authors registers by the early-bird deadline upon notification of acceptance into the Symposium, and attend the Symposium to present the work.

Non-Proceeding

While this call focuses on papers already accepted in conferences, we also welcome submissions of work-in-progress papers in the areas of knowledge discovery and data mining. As the presentations are non-archival without any proceeding publication, it does not impact the future publication of these papers.

Presentation

There will be two modes of presentation.  A subset of the accepted presentations will be presented orally.  The others will be presented as posters.  We will be awarding certificates and cash prizes for the Best Presentation Awards as well as Best Poster Awards based on inputs from the audience as well as the selection committee.
